Welcome to the Creatives’ Studio!

I believe that your creative passion shouldn't just be a dream—it should be a sustainable career that enables you to live your life the way you want to.

My name is Matt Coombes and I have spent 20 years as an Actor, Director, and Creative Leader working across theatre, nighttime spectaculars, drone shows, and atmosphere entertainment. I’ve lived the full journey, from attending and graduating East 15 Acting School, to running my own successful entertainment business for many years across multiple countries, employing performers from all over the world, and delivering 800 events a year.

For the last 9 years I have been a Show Director at Disney, collaborating with the world’s finest minds to create world-class spectacles, responsible for the complex architecture of multi-million dollar productions and events.

I’ve seen brilliant artists stall because they weren't taught the business of their craft. I’m here to change that.

My goal with "The Creatives’ Studio” is to give back to the creative community and share my experience - starting with “Event Management 101” - a 102-page masterclass of insights into the world of event management.

If you want to step beyond the stage, look behind the curtain, or grow in your current role and challenge yourself, then this course is for you!
