Hi, i’m Matt.

I am a creative professional with 20 years of experience building and running a creative business, creating live theatre and events for millions of guests.

Currently a Show Director with Disney, I am now offering 1:1 coaching sessions & and a brand-new online course for all creative professionals.

My background includes professional training at East 15 Acting School in London, back in 2006, after which I graduated as a professional actor, became an acting tutor and director, before moving to Hong Kong in 2010 and launching my own events & entertainment business.

I built this business for 7-years, hired 35 performers from across Hong Kong, the USA, UK, and Australia, opened an office in Singapore, ran two offices, and curated 800 events a year at our height. By 2019 we had become one of the most sought-after events companies in Hong Kong.

I hold an MBA from Manchester Business school, where I cemented my existing business knowledge with further study, specializing in Organizational Psychology, Business Strategy, and Financial Management.

At Disney for the last 7 years, I have worked as a Show Director from concept to delivery with some of the most creative minds in the world and created experiences for millions of local and international guests each year. Nighttime spectaculars, large-scale events, drone shows, stage shows, atmosphere pieces, and more, this job is magical.

And now, I want to give back. I want to empower other upcoming performers, directors, writers, and those eager to create art and build a business from their passion – and make it sustainable.
